Presilience in Practice

Don’t Wait for Stress to Arise: Actively manage your stress levels and actively practice techniques proven to reduce/ positively influence your stress levels. Get Enough Sleep: Ensuring you consistently get enough sleep is of great importance. When you are getting less sleep than your body requires to perform at an optimum level. This means you are less capable of dealing with problems/ issues and when something does go wrong your mind/ body is then overwhelmed by the problem/ issue. Have Fun: Too often we all get caught up in the “Hustle and Bustle” of life. There’s a trend now appearing were being “Busy busy busy” or “Flat out” is popular. Don’t forget to take time out to enjoy yourself with friends or by doing things you’re passionate about. Check out our Articles on Entertainment: for some fun activities to do!

Use your social network: And by saying this we do not just mean your social media. This includes real life interactions with people! Go and speak with Friends, Family and Colleagues. Don’t be so afraid to speak up about a small issue, so much so that the small issue becomes a bigger one.  Speak about life and problems with people you trust.
